Adele

The incredibly talented singer-songwriter, Adele Adkins, has announced (via social media) that she has a new album on the way. Her first album in over four years, the new album will be called 25. This is what she wrote in the heartfelt letter posted on her Facebook page:

The new album will be yours to listen to on November 20th, but fans have been treated to another great surprise, as the musician has announced that the first track, “Hello will be dropped on October 23rd (complete with a video – Adele’s first in three years, when she released “Skyfall,” the James Bond Theme Song).  With eleven tracks in total, we’re looking forward to more powerhouse tunes from the 27-year-old artist.

Here’s the full tracklist:

01. Hello

02. Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

03. I Miss You

04. When We Were Young

05. Remedy

06. Water Under the Bridge

07. River Lea

08. Love in the Dark

09. Million Years Ago

10. All I Ask

11. Sweetest Devotion

Alongside the tracklist and release dates, Adele fans were also treated to a viewing of the new album’s artwork. It looks quite similar to the artwork used on her last two albums, 19 and 21, featuring a close-up portrait of Adele, this time in a sepia tone.

Adele 25

Adele, who hails from Britain, had left hints about the album (and its title) in the past. For example, on her birthday in July of 2014, she sneaked in a tweet that read, “Bye bye 25… See you again later in the year.” It may have taken a little longer than expected, but Adele had her reasons for that. The singer even apologized to her fans for the long wait, stating that she really is “sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened.” By “life” she just might be talking about the birth of her adorable son, Angelo, who she and her partner Simon Konecki welcomed into the world back in 2012.

With her last album, 21, housing five hit singles, not to mention three Billboard Hot 100 Number 1 hits (Rolling in the Deep, Someone Like You, and Set Fire to the Rain), we can’t wait to hear the new tracks on 25!
