Robert Ellis’ New Album and Summer Tour

Robert Ellis is smokin’ hot and has the voice of a Southern Country angel! With a new self-titled album to be released on June 3, a brilliant compilation of some of our favorites, plus more, the summer is beginning to look pretty good. With a tour kicking off from his hometown of Houston, Ellis is primed to enjoy the recent surge in traditional country music. We can all enjoy “Driven,” this single has paved the way to the album and made its way onto the Songs We Love list. It is all that we are afraid to admit feeling between the breakup goodbye and actually walking away from that love you have lost. It is about painful details, depressing moments, life-altering decisions and the moping that is inevitable, turning your very existence tedious for those around you. Co-written by Angaleena Presley, another incredible country singer who does not follow the latest trends towards something that careens way off the traditional country path, this song makes for the backbone of the fourth album that Ellis will be releasing. It is simply irresistible due to its honest nature and blunt narrative, the musical adventurousness and simple confusion that is all too easy to relate to.

While the new album’s soundtrack is still unknown, the tour dates have been announced!
