Lately it seems that all we hear about is gun violence and the opposing sides when it comes to amending the laws in the United States. Whether you are pro-gun control or not, you will appreciate what the reunited Black Eyed Peas have come up with, joined by Justin Timberlake, A$AP Rocky, Mary J. Blige, and Usher. The “Where is the Love” remix also features Puff Daddy, Ty Dolla $ign, Jaden Smith, DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Jamie Foxx, and The Game among so many more like Jessie J, Randy Jackson, Wilmer Valderrama, Omarion, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Shailene Woodley, Vanessa Hudgens, Lance Bass, Connie Britton, and just about the rest of the world it seems. It’s an all-star cast here and all in the name of promoting peace, the remix of the 2003 song aptly renamed “#WHERESTHELOVE” and available for streaming and download already.

The track proceeds are expected to go to i.am.angel Foundation that is specifically set up to help offer college scholarships and preparation/educational programs by will.i.am, a member of the Black Eyed Peas. The song begins with a whisper…”when is it enough?” It is incredibly beautiful and gets you wondering where the love is at these days. A statement was made by the group about the song. “it calls for calm, asking citizens of the world to stop the hate and violence that has resulted in many lives lost.” Love is the key, it is the solution. It is the most powerful thing in the world and it matters not if one is black, white or any mix of color. The power of this tune is sure to propel it to the top of the Billboard charts, exceeding its previous record of  number 8. It’s so good to see the group back together after a five-year hiatus and we hope more artists will be stepping up to the plate to preach peace at home and around the world, spreading the love with them.
