The 23rd annual Key West Songwriters Festival will take place from May 9 -13. It will feature some of the most talented artists in the country music scene. The festival will also be part of the rebuilding effort for the Hurricane Irma victims, which devastated the Florida Keys and the Caribbean last September.
For five days, the attendees of the Key West Songwriters Festival (aka Hurricane Irma Benefit Concert) can enjoy music, fun, and the sun. As of now, there are a few confirmed artists set to perform at the festival. They include Ashley McBryde, Tyler Farr, Wade Bowen, LANCO, Bruce Robison, and Robert Earl Keen.
Among the headlining acts for the benefit concert are Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley from Florida Georgia Line. The band is no stranger to performing in the many bars and clubs in the Key West area, as this is the place where they first started out. Hubbard revealed that the city is close to their hearts, saying “this place is a really special one for [the band].” Kelley also noted that “music is healing and [the band is] beyond blessed to bring [their] Nashville community to Key West.”
Other artists set to share the stage at the festival are RaeLynn and Morgan Wallen. As the date of the event draws closer, it is expected that more artists will be announced. Stay tuned to Music Mix Daily for updates!
