The Country Music Association (CMA) has announced that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will return for hosting duties at the upcoming 52nd annual CMA Awards this November 14. The dynamic duo has hosted the annual music event every year since 2008! The CMA Awards 2018 will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
When the announcement was made, Carrie Underwood recalled the first time she was asked to host the show. “It was crazy,” she recalled. “It was just kinda crazy, and 11 years later, we’re still doing this.”
In addition to announcing this year’s hosts, CMA has also stated that the CMA Awards nominees will be revealed on August 28. Sugarland, Luke Bryan, and Dan + Shay will be on-hand to announce the list of nominees. The announcement will be made from Luke Bryan’s new restaurant in Nashville – 32 Bridge Food + Drink – and broadcast on Good Morning America.
There are over 7,400 members of the Country Music Association. They will be tasked to vote for the nominees in specific categories to determine the winners. Just as the nominees have yet to be revealed, there are also no details about the presenters or performers at this moment.
As in years past, viewers can watch the CMA Awards 2018 on ABC. The actual time slot for the red carpet broadcast has not been revealed yet. We will be sharing that information with you as soon as it’s available… so stay tuned!
