Cody Beebe & The Crooks Are Headed To Europe

By Lesa Browning

Local Washington state band, Cody Beebe & The Crooks are hosting two European Tour launch parties this week.

February 6th -The Seasons Performance Hall, Yakima, WA. Free/all ages/unplugged with Common Deer, Village and more

February 7th – The Tractor Tavern, Seattle, WA.  with The Banner Days and  Whiskey & Rye

I was thrilled yesterday to get an email from one of my favorite Washington bands.  Cody Beebe & The Crooks have become a Washington state staple over the past years, playing all over the state, but especially in Yakima and Seattle.  The guys are soon headed out on their first European tour. I originally heard these guys play when they opened up for Austin Jenkes (The Voice Season 5) at the Spokane Knitting Factory.  Cody Beebe & The Crooks, CBC as they are sometimes called, were amazing.  Reverberation calls CBC Heartland Rock and I think that works, but the emphasis should definitely be put on rock, because these guys know how to shake things up! They actually remained on stage and acted as the back up band for Jenkes. I went out that night to check out Austin Jenkes, but left feeling like I had discovered an amazing group of rockers in Cody Beebe & The Crooks.  Since that first concert I have had the chance to see them play live in many venues all over the state and they never disappoint.  Sadly, I can’t make their send off shows this week or the European dates, but I am happy to know that they will be introducing a whole new group of music lovers to their awesome sound.

Big Congratulations to the band!!
