Death Cab For Cutie has confirmed that their new album, Thank You For Today, will hit stores in August. The band has been teasing the new music for a few weeks now. Thank You For Today will be their 9th studio album and is a follow-up to Kintsugi, which was released in 2017.
In addition to confirming the album’s title and release window, the band has released its first single called “Gold Rush”. Thank You For Today’s 10-song track list is as follows:

Death Cab For Cutie is expected to perform in Amsterdam on June 16. From there, they’ll be headed to Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival in London on June 19. Their busy schedule will continue with a performance on June 20 at London’s Scala.
The band will wrap up their series of performances in Europe before heading back to the U.S. In September, they’ll kick off their U.S. tour in Las Vegas. If you want to catch one of their shows, here’s their full U.S. tour schedule:
