New Star-Studded Calvin Harris Album Gets Major Heat
There will be a host of top music guests on the new Calvin Harris album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, which he has described in a February tweed as working “with the greatest artists of our generation!!!” The Scottish record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter will be dropping the new album come June 30th, where we will get to see everyone from Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Kehlani, Future and Pharrell to Katy Perry, Big Sean, John Legend, Khalid, Migos, Schoolboy Q, Ariana Grande, Young Thug, D.R.A.M., Nicki Minaj, Lil Yachty, Jessie Reyez, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Snoop Dogg. Of course, fans will be the deciding factor on who actually is the best from this mix, but all in all, there is major hype happening, with the release of “Slide” with Frank Ocean and Migos collaborations, and “Heatstroke” with Young Thug, Pharell, and Ariana Grande. Harris’ last album was 2014’s Motion and this new one is expected to be spectacular.

Shaun Frank Interview
So I thought I would ask for an interview. I figured I would never get airtime with such an incredible star. But … that’s what makes EDM and its top talent so special: they haven’t forgotten their fans. Frank graciously accepted my request.

Codeko
By Hazen Witmeyer @Hazengirl It wasn't the easiest setup: a small, slightly run down club in Atlanta (sorry Gold Room) on the day before Easter, and his set's start time pushed up to 7 PM. That's OK: he still killed it. He is Codeko: an up-and-coming electronic dance...

Chainsmokers
OK, so I realize that The Chainsmokers are a huge international act. Everybody and their teenage daughter loves Drew Taggart and Alex Pall. After all, they won a Grammy and Closer was THE song of 2016.

Major Lazer Teams up with Justin Bieber and MØ for “Cold Water”
It is expected that “Cold Water” will become the new song of the summer. The collaborations are a bit unexpected and while Danish singer MØ is certainly a good enough fit, the news headlining Justin Bieber is an interesting pick, particularly considering the success of Diplo’s former collaboration with the singer and “Where Are You Now” not too far back.
