Evanescence LP and Fall Tour

Evanescence Brings Us Back to Life with “Synthesis” LP and Fall Tour

There is so much to love about Evanescence. On the music scene since the 1990’s, this American rock band has always had a unique take on the vocals it resounds with, gathering a fan base that truly cannot get enough of Amy Lee’s work. The new passion project for the artist, called Synthesis and due out this fall, will be including all reimagined older songs, including the famous “Bring Me to Life” single. Two new tracks will also be added to the mix. The best known songs of all time will be redone with a full orchestra, the first since their 2011 self-titled LP.

“This is a total passion project for me. There are so many layers in our music underneath the huge drums and guitars,” Lee said in a statement. “I’ve always wanted to shine a light on some of the gorgeous David Campbell arrangements and programming elements in our songs, and that idea snowballed into completely re-doing them with full orchestra, not just strings, elaborate programming and experimentation.” The Synthesis Live tour is set to kick off on October 14 from Las Vegas and will be taking the group around the US and Canada. Tickets are already on sale and is accompanied by a free download of the album. It is their first time touring with an orchestra, so there is so much to be looking forward to.
