Float Fest is one of the most anticipated summer music festivals. Fans who are excited about this event have even more to look forward to now that Snoop Dogg, Bassnectar, and Tame Impala have been added the list of performers!
Float Fest recently confirmed the full lineup of performers at the two-day event, which will be held in San Marcos, Texas. The festival will kick off on Saturday, July 21 and will conclude the following day. The list of performers on the Water Stage includes Modest Mouse, Bassnectar, Snoop Dogg, and Tame Impala. Toadies and Glass Animals are among those who will perform on the Sun Stage.
Performances will kick off at 2:30 pm each day. But even before the live music begins, festival attendees will get the chance to start tubing by 8 am along the San Marcos River. From there, they can head to the festival grounds of Cool River Ranch.
Float Fest founder, Marcus Federman, has issued a press release about the music festival, saying, “[We’re] excited to host some of the nation’s most talented artists and continue shaping our local community as a destination to find a unique festival experience”. He also notes that floating on the river is part of the Texas tradition and combining that with live music can make it one exciting event.
A major change for this year’s event is that there will be no overlapping sets on the festival’s main stages. This way, you won’t miss any of the 22 main acts performing. Festival attendees can choose to camp on the site, and there will be up to 35 local food vendors available.
In addition to the above-mentioned artists, there are a few other artists that will be performing at the Float Fest this year. They are:
The Wild Now
Run The Jewels
You can purchase VIP and general admission tickets to Float Fest on their website. You will need to buy separate tickets if you want to go tubing. Stay tuned to Music Mix Daily for more concert and festival news!
