Gwen Stefani is the newest artist to reveal her Las Vegas residency. The former No Doubt singer and The Voice judge confirmed that she will have her own Las Vegas residency on April 10 via her Twitter status update. The show will be called Gwen Stefani – I’m Just a Girl, a title that was inspired by her 1995 hit with No Doubt, “Just a Girl”.
Stefani’s Las Vegas residency will have 25 performance dates in total, giving fans plenty of time to catch one of her shows in Sin City. The residency will kick off on June 27, and her shows will take place throughout the next few months. The show will pause during January and most of February before it picks up again in March 2019. Stefani will perform at Zappos Theater in the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. This is the same theater where other pop stars like Backstreet Boys and Jennifer Lopez have had their residencies.
The blonde pop star, who grew up in Anaheim, California, said that she thinks of her Las Vegas residency as “an incredible honor”. She also said that she “could never have imagined one day having [her] own Vegas residency”, adding that she can’t wait to start her performances in Vegas.
Since she parted ways with her former band, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani has released four studio albums. The most recent album release was in 2016, called This is What The Truth Feels Like. In 2017, she also released a Christmas album called You Make It Feel Like Christmas. Her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, was featured on the album.
