Logic, the American rapper, songwriter and record producer dropped a new song that compared his sales with that of Katy Perry and Harry Styles, top names in the pop genre these days. Furthermore, he has a new collaboration with Marshmello called “Everyday”  that dropped last week.. Apparently, he has been quite busy, with a Tokyo tour alongside a Hawaii visit coinciding with another track drop called “Overnight” coupled with an impromptu music video. This is one bang after another after staying quiet since his 2017 Everybody release, selling 247,000 in its first week and inspiring the lyrics taking a hit at the pop stars – “”Sold more albums my week than Harry Styles and Katy Perry/If that ain’t a sign of the times then I don’t know what is, man this sh*t is scary,” he raps. To date, his best hit song has been the Grammy-nominated “1-800-273-8255” that has swept through the world. After all, lyrics stating that one doesn’t want to be alive, that one wants to die, would certainly resonate with many people at some point in their lives. The man nailed it with that one. Spreading awareness about suicide prevention, the song soared high on the charts. It earned the rapper his highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, while “44 More” is making waves itself.

For fans who simply cannot get enough of Logic, he appears on the Netflix documentary series Rapture, chronicling the rise of some of hip-hops biggest acts. With 2017 having been such a great year for the artist, we are curious to see where 2018 takes him now.
