February isn’t just about the Super Bowl, hearts and chocolates! In fact, this February has some great things in store when it comes to new music releases. What can you expect? Here’s a little preview:

1. Big Sean: I Decided

Set to be released on February 3, I Decided is the 4th studio album from Big Sean. What’s the album about? Big Shawn rapped some hints on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: “I decided that counting money never feel as good as counting blessings… I decided for the first time in my life no second guessing. I decided in this moment and time right now who the best is. I’m the best.” We can’t wait to see what he has in store. For now, we’ll enjoy the album’s first single, “Bounce Back”.

2. LeAnn Rimes: Remnants

Also due to be released on February 3 is LeAnn Rimes’ 16th studio album (yes, we said 16th!). Titled Remnants, Rimes has said in interviews that the album is about living a genuine life and loving yourself, no matter how challenging it may be or how broken you feel. She wrote 10 of the 14 tracks on the album, and also included songs written by Barry Dean and Lori McKenna.

3. Lupe Fiasco: DROGAS Light

Dropping on February 10, Lupe Fiasco’s DROGAS Light will feature collaborations with Victoria Monet, Salim, Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., Ty Dolla $ign, and several other artists. Lupe has already given fans a look at the new album cover:

4. Thievery Corporation: The Temple of I & I

One of our favorite electronic groups, Thievery Corporation, is releasing The Temple of I & I on February 10. Although they’ve never had a radio hit, they have gained an enormous following over the last 20 years. And of course, with the release of The Temple of I & I, they will be performing several shows around the U.S.

5. Ryan Adams: Prisoner

Last, but not least on our list, Ryan Adams will be releasing a limited edition box set of his new album Prisoner on February 17. The set comes with action figures of the band and their stage set, as well as career-spanning vinyl records. Just what else does he have in store for us? We can’t wait to find out in February!
