New Shawn Mendes Single
New Shawn Mendes Single Boils the Blood – Canadian Singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes may have started off with covers appearing on Vine, but he has certainly come quite a ways in the music industry. He may is only 19 years old, yet he is already voicing his thoughts and emotions, particularly highlighting the battle against loneliness and anxiety with his new single, “In My Blood” that appears on his new LP. The ballad is an honest rendering of the artist’s innermost turmoil, while the added rock elements give texture to the music. “I was like, I want to make a Kings of Leon record – I want to go more rock,” Mendes said. “The only way we’re going to step up … and get better … is if it’s more honest. Like, how raw can we get?”
“In My Blood” is the first teaser we get from the upcoming third album named SM3. Considering that his last LP debuted at Number One in September 2016 just as his first one had in 2015, there are high hopes for the next project as well. The song is written with Teddy Greiger, Scott Harris and Geoff Warburton and is relatable for just about everyone listening. The track’s artwork is simple, floral and rather suitable with its color combination. The ballad itself works quite well as workout music as well, “Sometimes I feel like giving up, but it isn’t in my blood,” he sings. Yes, that is definitely something that would keep us going.
Oh and for those who love artists that keep dropping new music, the latest “Lost in Japan” just popped up on streaming venues across the Web, a sexy new single with quite a bit of Mendes suave. There is someone he can’t get off his mind in Japan, it appears, and he just wanted to give his fans another song to enjoy. Sure, why not? We like “In My Blood” a little more though. Then again, what’s not to love about steamy nights in Japan?
