Okay, we know that no one can actually win the Billboard Music Awards, but if anyone could, it would be Miss Taylor Swift. She took home a grand total of 8 awards, including the sought-after Top Artist and Top Streaming Song Awards. She also was the fan favorite and the Top Female Artist, to boot. With the next in line taking home only 3 awards each, Taylor really did come out on top. In her acceptance for Top Billboard 200 album for “1989”, which she beat out One Direction, Sam Smith and Katy Perry for, she crooned how “this is such a good night!” Of course, it wasn’t all about her and the awards. She eagerly shared in her acceptance speech that “”Early this morning I watched my brother Austin graduate from Notre Dame … (and) to anyone who’s graduating this year … this is for you.” What a sweetie!

Not only did the artist leave the night with her hands full, she also left the crowd feeling great after her premier of the video for her song “Bad Blood”, electronically jazzed up! The video showed a different side of Swift, opening with Taylor as her alter-ego Catastrophe and Selena Gomez fighting a group of men, before turning on each other! We’ve never seen Swift so tough before. The video was certainly star-studded, with Selena and Taylor each gathering an army including the famous Jessica Alba, Ellie Goulding, Lena Dunham, and Hayley Williams, just to name a few. Oh, and the video featured fire. A lot of fire. Despite the shift away from sweetness, Swift was still adorable when she shared how happy she was to have the opportunity “to show the world” the new video. All in all it was a big night for Swift, who even snuck in a few kisses with her not-so-rumored-anymore boyfriend Calvin Harris. Well, it was just a kiss on the cheek, so maybe the rumors are still rumors….
