Each spring, from the dawn of time (okay, since 1972), Nashville has transformed in a country music dreamland, with musicians and music lovers alike flocking to the city, to take over the pubs, clubs, conference halls, sports stadiums, and streets. This year, the CMA (Country Music Association) Music Festival is being held from June 10 to 14 and Music Mix Daily is beyond thrilled to announce that we will bringing you live updates from the country music extravaganza in Nashville!

With the headliners announced back in March and the full schedule still filling up with an almost dizzying number of talented artists, we could not be more stoked! To get you just as psyched as we are for country music’s event of the year, we thought we’d share the three things we think will be the best parts of the four day festival.

Not only will Nashville be sporting no-ticket-required events scattered around downtown Nashville throughout the festival, they will be doing so on seven, that’s right, seven free stages!

Music Mix Daily is particularly excited to check out the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage, which will be kicked off by none other than, Country Music’s hot bachelor, Gary Allan. But one of the most interesting aspects of the free music is discovering new bands and singer-songwriters that are fresh to your ears. Imagine walking down the street and listening to a sweet tune you’ve never heard before. Completely possible at the CMA Music Festival. Even better, Music Mix Daily will be reporting back on our greatest finds, keeping you in-the-know. Be sure to follow us on Twitter for real time updates.

Speaking of free, it is also kind of awesome to note that all the musical artists who perform at the festival do so free of charge. Proceeds from the event fund school music programs through Keep the Music Playing. Cool!

With concerts every night at LP Field bringing in crowds as huge as 70,000 in the past, we can only image the buzz that will fill the air each night this year. One of the neatest parts of the CMA Festival is the mix of old and new. This year’s headliners are meeting our expectations, and we bet the live shows will surpass them. With up to six artists scheduled to perform each night, there are bound to be some fantastic shows and some amazing jam sessions!

To anyone who doesn’t appreciate country music, this will probably just seem like a list of names, but to us, it is a goldmine of musical talent and stage bravo. There are some seriously amazing names lined up for this year! Without further ado, the CMA Music Headliners: Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Neal McCoy, Oak Ridge Boys, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Cole Swindell, The Band Perry, Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band, and Wynonna and the Big Noise.

Is anyone else drooling? Unfortunately, if you haven’t got your tickets yet, they’ve been sold out for months… But don’t feel too bad, Music Mix Daily promises to share all the details with you.

Nashville is going to be unreal. While there is no doubt that we’re going to be there for the music, there are going to be endless other things to do, too. Mixed in with all the music will be vendors selling awesome products and foods (with samples!), game booths, and the option to just soak in the vibe of a city transformed into country music heaven. From checking out demo Jeeps to winning free beauty products, there will be something for everyone. So if there is ever a reason to take a break from the music (we really can’t think of any now), there will be plenty to do!
