The Latest On Eminem
The headline reads “NOT FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION,” and the ad shows excerpts of terrible reviews of Kamikaze from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Billboard and other publications. The most interesting part, though, is the text at the bottom of the ad: “#1 in 103 countries and 434,000 equivalent album units in the US first week.”
Yes, Eminem has been on quite a rampage against his critics lately and it’s certainly bringing some excitement to rap! With the recent release of his new album, Kamikaze, a feud has started between him and rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK). Well, technically, this isn’t a new feud as it’s been ongoing since 2012. However, this is the first time the two rappers have decided to take it a step further by exchanging diss tracks – “Rap Devil” by MGK and “Killshot” by Eminem. We’re pretty sure this feud won’t fizzle out anytime soon, especially since other personalities surrounding the two have decided to chime in. For example, as he dissed MGK in “Killshot,” Eminem also implied that P. Diddy was responsible for Tupac’s 1996 death:
“Killshot, I will not fail, I’m with the Doc still/But this idiot’s boss pops pills and tells him he’s got skills/But, Kells, the day you put out a hit’s the day Diddy admits/That he put the hit out that got Pac killed.”
Now, in a podcast, Joe Budden decided to share Diddy’s thoughts on Eminem’s words: “Nothing to speculate about, nothing to talk about. Puff said it’s in his hands, and he said, I can say it… he wild.” After this cryptic statement, Budden immediately changed the subject.
We can’t imagine what will happen next! What do you think? Tell us in the comments!
It’s amazing to see his comeback like this. Whether he decides to continue to put out hits or sit back and enjoy something else, he’ll definitely go down as one of the greatest lyricists of all time.
We totally agree!
He will definitely become known even more than he is now
We think so too!
I think he will keep on making fantastic music and putting the “new kids on the block” on blast!
So true! We hope so!
He never really disappoints, and I don’t see him slowing down at all. I think it’s fair to expect more great work from him.
Agreed. He’s one of our favorite artists!
I don’t know what Em will do next but I do know I am so glad to have some new music from him again. I love Em and think he is amazing at what he does.
