Twelve Foot Ninja Plays Spokane Knitting Factory

By Travis Boggs

The Metal band Twelve Foot Ninja, hailing from Melbourne, Australia, came to the Spokane knit on Wednesday and put on one hell of a show.  The Band is touring in support of the band In This Moment as they embark on their US Headline tour. Even though the band was there to open,  they drew in the crowd and made more than a few new fans. The band’s front man Kin Etik was full of energy on stage,  jumping around and engaging with the crowd. The band which recently won the award for “Best New Talent” at the Revolver Golden God Awards, started their set with Mother Sky, the third track from their debut album Silent Machine.  They continued on to play about half the album including Coming For You, Kingdom, Shuriken, Deluge, Vanguard and finished with a short cover of Kelis’ Milkshake which brought a ton of laughs from the crowd. The venue was packed and the crowd was actually getting into the music of this band that most of the attendees had never heard of before, always a good sign. These guys are going to just get bigger and bigger and I would highly recommend checking them out now. You can purchase their album Silent Machine on They have also released a handful of music videos on that are quite entertaining!
